    In 1901, Pt. Vishnu Digambar Paluskar founded Gandharva Mahavidyalaya in Lahore. His journey from Lahore to Mumbai popularized Gandharva Mahavidyalaya across states, enriching the region's musical landscape.

    Recognizing the need for connection between its diverse affiliated music schools ABGMVM started 'Sangeet Kala Vihar' magazine in 1947 on the auspicious occasion of Balipratipada (Diwali). Today, ABGMVM carries forward Pandit Ji's legacy, cultivating generations of music enthusiasts and preserving the timeless beauty of Indian classical music for all.
