£ FREE: steel speaker base plates

A pair of custom made 20mm laser cut solid steel base plates, for use with large speakers or under speaker stands. Could be used as basis for diy stand project. Features M8 metric threaded holes to accept standard speaker isolation spikes (5 holes per plate, for either corner spikes or tri spike arrangement). Black hammerite smooth finish. Overall surface is slightly textured, a bit like an I-beam's finish. Hidden underside is covered in resonance deadening silver dynamat. Each weighs an absolute ton! They were used with some large speakers which are going shortly. W 330mm 13.0", D 465mm 18.3". Going in the skip on 20th march!

Right, just spoke to the boss, who'll only give me a definitive answer after seeing them. So if it's OK with you I'll ask a colleague of mine who lives near Maldon to pick them up for me. If the boss hates them, I'll offer them to any ZGer who wants them or dump them.
