    In no particular order...

Tori Amos (kooky but, erm, yum yum)
Hayley Westenra (I'll stop her being pure...)
    Beyonce Knowles
Courtney Love (if Kurt reckoned she's the best f*** on earth, she's got to be on the list eh?)
    J:Lo
Siobhan Fahey (Shakespeare's sister phase - particularly during Hormonally Yours phase)
    Brody Dalle (looks well dirty!)
Taller blonde bird from Shampoo (OK, that was a while ago but I bet she's still fit)
    Mel B (yes really!)

    Almost but not quite:
Sonia Echobelly (stood 3 feet from her at a gig (her support act!) and she's lush in real life
    Kate Bush
    Dolores O Riorden (spelling? Cranberries)
    The bird from Senser
    Charlotte Hatherly (Ash)
PJ Harvey (odd looking but eminently doable)
    That bird from Evanescence
Natalie Kline(sp?) - Young Musician of the year 1995/6 (think it was 6)
Eliza Carthy (large, but cute with it - she could fiddle with me any day - plus seen her live and she rocks)

You can keep Kylie - never saw the attraction I'm afraid.

    Mel C (good call Rory :D )
    Kylie
    Madonna
    Holly Valance
    Sophie Ellis-Bextor
Belinda Carlisle (…and the rest of Go-Gos come to that)

She was 18 when Shampoo came out, dude :)

Sh--- I mean sugar - forgot the (female) Corrs - all of them (I see a David Brent coming on - "oh, see, that's you, putting filth in my brain")

    And Mel C - miaow!

Funnily enough I have "Return to the valley of the go-gos" on me right now - mmm yum yum!

I can only think of 6 for now - I'll get back with the other 4 later:

    Mylene Klass – gorgeous
Aimee Winehouse – big nose, big teeth but there's something about her (she'd be noisy too)
Grace Jones – come on, if you survived, no-one could doubt your virility!
Jewel – lovely, country girl (she'd probably want to do it outside)
Suzanne Vega – always found her strangely attractive
Emma Bunton – she's so cute

What an absolutely apalling thread ....

    here goes:

    Melissa Auf Der Maur

Kate Bush (who simply gets sexier as she gets older)

Sonia from Echobelly (how she made your almost list and Mel B made your top ten I don't know, Dom - were you feeling alright?)

Nina Persson (mainly when she was a bit cute and fluffy - before she became a leather clad rock chick)

Meg White (My she has big drums)

Both the girls out of the Von Bondies (not at the same time, though, I'm not that kinda bloke, one of them would have to queue haha)

Marianne Faithful (If I had a Tardis and could travel back to 1965 that is - still not bad fer a sexy pensioner - while we're about it - if I've popped back to 1965 - I'll pop over to Paris and do Francoise Hardy and Catherine Deneuve as well - that makes 10)

Most of my choices have been mentioned so I'll add The Divine Emma Kirkby to previously selected:-

    Belinda Carlisle
    Eliza Carthy
    Kim Wilde
    Suzanne Vega

Being old I can only manage five but I'll take quality over quantity any day.

Does Cat Deely count as a singer?

    Auric:p

Come on - no Norah Jones???

Just off the top of my head:

    Norah Jones
Joss Stone (err...well, in a couple of years time when she's 18 :MILD: )
    Diana Krall
    Kylie
    Victoria Beckham
    Vanessa Paradis
    Nelly Furtado
    Sophie Ellis-Bextor
    t.A.T.u :p
    Alannis Morisette
Helene Grimaud - had to get at least one classical one in.

    Michael.

Dom - 2 classicos in your list, you're slipping there - may even get you listening to them sometime :D ? Agree with you about Kylie too.

Ms Clein is looking just as gorgeous these days (BTW it was 1994 she won the comp) - although possibly just a bit too thin for perfection! I actually got to speak to her last year, when she was standing just a few feet from me at a late night Prom. She does pull some really funny faces though when getting passionate ;) (in that particular instance with Schubert  )

Yes - Ms Grimaud has to get in there as well, along with Anna Netrebko (from the Kirov Opera).

And Viktoria Mullova is pretty special too - although her "Ice Queen" image is clearly not entirely justified, having three children by three different fathers!

And for an old bird, Kiri Te Kanawa is looking pretty stunning at the moment (shame her voice is going off though)
