Yes, I know I panned them before. But two days ago I ordered a CD and it arrived today! All the way from Jersey! Amazing!

What's that you say? Oh, what was it?

    Linkin Park - Meteora

Special edition with CDROM stuff and also including a DVD entitled 'The Making Of Meteora'. And all for £6.99 :)

The joint is a rockin' :slayer:

Well I hadn't bought any for nearly a year.. until this week.

Since January we have sold our house in Bristol [I might have met
Penance and MO if I'd stayed there - though that wasn't why we
moved], moved across to Leicestershire [with a lot of problems
purchasing, job-hunting etc..] you get the picture. So this week I
have gone a little crazy and bought 31 CDs!! Most at £5.99 though. In fact it took me about 4 days of trawling to get the order lists together.

In my defence, I do feel a bit light-headed nowadays,
after leaving IT in February and now landing a council job that
involves largely riding a bicycle [supplied] and asking ladies for
£4.40/hour so that I can watch them play tennis - bummer eh?

First CD arrived in 2 days too - From Amazon:

Little Feat - Waiting for Columbus, new 2 CD version

The rest will drag out from here to Xmas with the dodgy suppliers
    I use.

Good buy there Techno [pricewise I mean - not the lousy
band!!] I see your CD+DVD would be 15.99 in Keymailorder

I have to agree about the TV mate. If only I can persuade SWMBO to ditch the goggle-box, that'll be another serious lifestyle improvement

    cheers,

    Graham C

Good to read you're getting better service this time!

Graham! Good everythings working out with the MOve. You said before about the acoustics of the tent not being too good! ;)

31 cds in one go! YAY! I got a nice big lump of cash a few years back and went on a mad one buying cds. Went into a couple of shop with my two brothers and said grab whatever you want in a minute. Both held back quite a bit, but still had a good aMOunt. In the space of about a weekend I probably bought about 100 cds+

With the way that you'll get them delivered an as you say, probably staggered (various delivery times) up till xmas, will be cool! Not knowing what's going to turn up next :D Nice build up to xmas :D

Could be to do with the postal strike maybe? If it doesn't turn up MOnday may be worth giving them a shout.

If i'd known you were after a copy of it........ ;)

    Hiya Mo -

Ive been thinking more about the delay I get from them - and I think its because I tend to buy stuff which is non-chart.

Perhaps they stock pile popular / new items for quick release, and fanny-on with distributors for back catalogue stuff...

I figure they may miss the postal strike because they must fly the post in, probably to southampton - and probably avoids London on its route to my house!

    oh well, maybe next week...

Bottleneck, have you had the email syaing they dispatched it. It can take ten days from that email for the CD to arive. That's what happened last time. This time it was two days.

I'm still waiting for a foreign import (from Holland) which was supposed to take 2 - 4 weeks. That was ordered October 11th so it's been 4 weeks now.

ya i got that album a whle back when it was released.

I went of 101cd although I get deals in the email every week or so but the only cd i ordered from them took about 2 months for them to tell me that cant get the CD.

so a little pissed of i havnt used them since. and i still cant find somewhere that will sell me the CD.

I tend to use play.com from the same island mindue.
