As you know I am quite into photography and currently have a Fuji A210 digital which is mostly fine for me.

However there are shots such as night shots it can;t do well.

Morgan have a lot of Minolta kit very cheap including this

My grandma wants to buy my mum a 35mm scanner so she can print a lot of old negatives, so I was thinking it might be a good time to invest in 35mm SLR until I can afford a digital SLR.

    What do you think?

With used EOS D30s fetching only a little over £200 now, I don't think there's any argument for "investing" in a film body, especially not one of a system with serious question marks over its future.

Well Minolta have pulled out of the camera market completly, I think Sony have agreed to supply parts etc.

I am probably better of waiting and saving up for a digital SLR though.
