that last sim is for a longer Hypex type horn. Yours is a tractrix isn't it?

Yes. If the last simulation is with a longer hypex tipe horn, higher frequency output should be less than with tractrix. The shorter the horn, the higher it goes.

what i can conclude is, that it might be useful to choose a lower crossover point to the midrange channel . My intend was to choose 700hz, but 500hz might be better.

Unfortunately, hornresp does not work on windows xp.Can someone make a simulation for my basshorn ?

Your bass horn is a folded (snailshell) type design isn't it? I'm not sure how relevant modelling it as a straight horn would actually be. I'll have a look later when I've more time. (BTW Hornresp does work on my XP equipped computer)

I think for LF, it's fine. I wold guess that it's the HF that will be curtailed along with some added ripples from the "pipe" effect of the segments...

Works on XP for me too...

great. thanks. it's running now. What i do not understand at you simulation is With 100cm^3 throat chamber, and 1l throat chamber. In the second of your hornresp simulation, the response is a littlebit more linear between 150hz and 400hz. I have made a drawing below, to show how the horn throat will be , and dimensions. 1l throat chamber seems quit big to me, it will be in reality much smaller.
