A note for Itunes/Ipod users...

    Finally, I've downloaded all my CDs into the 500G hardrive (Took too long!)... while listening to my library 15,000 songs on shuffle (great fun!), I noticed that there were distortions on the higher notes (especially on opera pieces).

    And, I found the solution to that is to switch the Sound Enhancer Off instead of neutral, and most importantly, having the Auto Sound Check OFF.

    Now, it sounds fantastic! (using Apple Lossless format)

    Indeed and turn off EQ settings as well.

    If outputting via external speakers you can also tell iTunes to disable volume (making it line level)
