I don't really like Jim Carrie films, but this ones an exception,a really great family film, some great effects, good story line too, well worth a watch.

Not actually seen this myself, but a mate who has says:

"I liked it. It was very thought provoking and subtle with a hint of familial ties or something"

    :)

Not a carey fan either but did laugh at me myself and irene and thought eternal sunshine of a spotless mind was his start on more serious film roles also worth a watch.

A Series of Unfortunate Events - a little surreal and very entertaining. Reminded me of Roald Dahl's style. Carey was perfectly cast in this piece as the overdramatic Count Olaf. Great score too by Thomas Newman (American Beauty, Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile, Fried Green Tomatoes)
