Is there any review from magazines for this transport/DAC?
Do you have any information about this product?

Amir, I think Joel is probably the best person to answer this. Send him a PM.

The Accuphase combo is one of the finest CD spinners ever created but that does not mean you will like it.

The use of 16 Philips TDA1541 Double Crown multibit dacs alone should alert you to the very special qualities of this unit. IMO, this DAC has never been bettered, and of course was also featured in the Marantz CD12, the CD7, and the current Zanden 5000 Series. All of these players stand at the very top of the pile in my experience, offering qualities unavailable with any amount of upsampling, interpolation, or other tweakery.

Remember the only reason these DAC's were superceded was cost and availability. It had F all to do with sound quality.

On a negative note, the combo is now likely to be over 12 years old and I suspect that everything mechanical has a finite life span (although the Accuphase is likely to be longer than most.)

Henry T had a DP90 as a tranport, which was ok. It was significantly improved with the addition of a Clock and seperate PSU.

Crystal Oscillator & power supply to the clock.
    Its an after market package.
I would strongly suggest a trip to London for auditioning, it will save you cash in the long run. Wm

    1. Is there external Oscillator for DC-91 clock generating?

    2. Do accuphase use PLL for clock generating in DP-90/DC-91 like newer models like DP-100/DC101?

No but it really doesn't matter - the important thing is the Dacs used.

Nice build quality - especially that retro 1980s-style "TV remote" remote control - he he!
