Ad blocker

    80% through uploading a vid to youtube and accidently clicked on an advert. :mad: Now I meanto make sure it never happens again!
    Anyone recommend an ad blocker? I'm on Vista and IE and don't really want to go to Mozilla.

    MO - Just because I have all my faves set up on IE now and I find it fine to use. If I could be arsd I'd probably change!

    If you install firefox it will import your IE bookmarks if you want.

    I would give Mozilla a try, much easier to use imo and seems a bit quicker too.

    It's not a case of one or the other either. Both run side by side with no issues.

    Ah, I've done it now. I'm on Firefox.

    Is it just a case of right clicking and blocking images or is there a box to click that will block all adverts?

    You could always subscribe to one or more of the AdBlock Plus blocking lists - kills a million adverts with just one click.

    Tools > AdBlock Plus > Filters > Add Filter Subscription > View all subscriptions

    It works for me.
