I have just bought a pair of Mission M35i speakers. Whilst installing the speakers I looked into their rear bass ports. I noticed that one speaker has some felt/fibre type material to the right side of (and slightly obstructing) the bass port. This material is nearly touching the lower bass driver.
I would like to know from other owners of M35is if this is a fault. I would probably be able to move the material away from the port and driver, however, I do not want to do anything which might damage the speaker, or invalidate my warranty.

The other speaker also has some felt material viewable from the bass post. However, in this speaker the felt/fibre is to the left of the port, and is not near the lower bass driver.

Any advice would be gratefully appreciated. Cheers Rick Johnson
