It begs the question, how did you buy the system in the first place if it doesn't work in your room. Strikes me as daft to spend a fortune on something that is not suitable.

If you live at the end of a rutted farm track up in the Welsh mountains would you buy a Lotus Elise?? The stupidity of the accoustic measurement and correction argument is about the same as rebuilding the farm track up to Silverstone standard.

Students normally get grotty rooms, but love their music. Reality IS!! surely you buy equipment to work in your room and if you buy without audition in your room, you deserve all you get. As not only does the compensation for the room cost another small fortune but the changes will never completely work, all cures have side effects. Like medicine a cure is never as good as prevention.

Unfortunately it is obvious we are philosophically opposed...I would probably get the track surfaced properly so I could drive my nice sports car up to my door. You, it seems, would don the welly boots and get in your Landrover. Your Landrover though, would be turbocharged with enhanced suspension, tyres and a snorkle. BTW I work for a pharma company ;-P
