advice re krell

I currently use arcam c31 pre amp into 2 arcam p1 with acoustic zen and heimdall cables for interconnects. I use dynaudio 72se floorstanders with chord oddy 4 into 2. [250 w into 4 ohms]

Would it be an upgrade in sound quality to move to a krell integrated 400xi . this gives out 400 watts into 4 ohms and obviously is much higher end than arcam but it is integrated as opposed to pre/power?

I was interested in reducing my box count but not if it is no improvement.

 

it'll sound different, Arcam can be a little warm (woolly) the krell will give you more detail.

whether its an upgrade or not depends on your tastes.
