One is wireless and the other isn't

What exactly are you trying to achieve?

if its playing music from your ipod through your stereo then :

    1) You can use a dock which uses the ipod dac and connects to your amp

    2) you can use a dock with digital out and connect to a dac or digital in on CD players that have this option

Express, Squeezebox etc is used to connect computers wirelessly ( or wired) to your stereo. if you use itunes to download music from the apple store then you will need the airport as squeezebox won't stream apple bought songs due to digital rights management issues.

covered extensively before so search he forum
