Alexa rate websites worldwide in terms of traffic ranking and page views etc. and as a matter of interest Zerogain is currently ranked at 752,221 in the world and has shot up the rankings in the last three months.

    Details are http://www.alexa.com/data/details/?url=www.zerogain.com

Interesting. Thanks for that Ian, didn't know about that one. I'm surprised as I was expecting a lull since the conversion to vB3.1 because it has it's own search engine friendly "archive" system (see the Archive link at the bottom of the page) so I binned the old 3rd party archiver which occupied the same root URL, meaning that all the links to ZG in Google would have become dead until it spidered the site again. Even so, Google seems to have less links to ZG than it used to and Google seems to be the driving force for new membership.

It is difficult to know how many links to the site Google have as they don't list them all. Some people say that they only list linking sites that have a PR of 4 and above

I thought you could get the full list with a combination of the allinurl: and site: commands eg:

Entering: allinurl:www.zerogain.com site:www.zerogain.com in the search window (or if you prefer, the search URL) gives you "about 2620" links (which is quite an improvement on the last time I did it...the new vb3 archive must be kicking in).
