Got to see the gig last night, only heard about it last minute so ended up sat in the gods, sonically it was not teh best place to be but i have to say she was great.

I only really went to hear her do the stuff off the CD 'Voice' in a live show. It came of very, very well indeed.

Only low bit for me was the earlier stuff, i was not famliliar with it and did not really connect with it at all.

the other high point - the 4 young ladies that made up the string quartet - ok i was abou t half a mile away from them but they were all easy on the eye!!

The building itself is also amazing, its only the second time i have been in there - detailed for sonic impressiveness right dwn to the fact that the bases of the folding audience seats have open slots cut in them - the idea being they absorb more sound so that, when artists are practising in an empty hall it the hall sounds as if it were full!
Could not help bu wonder though - are the steel bracings in the roof space directional...... ;)
