Its all change in the Soloist house. The music room is now minus the piano and has been redecorated with a change in layout. I have moved closer to a perfect (for me) listening position, without clutter. Following on from my recent posting about vinyl, I did have a bit of a fiddle with the VTA and have noticed a vast improvement. I am happy to accept the differences in engineering between digital and analogue and as such, I for one remain open minded and will play the format that sounds best where I have duplicates. Fool that I am I have just 'won' (contradiction in terms?) some MA Monitor 14s on E**y. Its only since winning that I see people have struggled to give them away! hey well, it does say 'MUG' on my forehead. All I want is a little more extension in the lower freq's! I'll let you know how I get on and how they compare to my seemingly obscure MF Ref 4 standmounts - another speaker you just can't give away. AB:)
