Allegedly one's ability to hear stereo imaging also improves dramatically under the influence of the dried leaves of a certain plant that can also be used to make hemp ropes....allegedy :D

i always found that a mix of lsd, amphetamines, crack and everclear improved the silences between notes and detail quite dramaticly - that was until the trial, now i don't touch the stuff.
    cheers

But be very careful of those ears, too much volume could leave you in tears.

I'm in agreement with the original poster, the music somehow sounds better after 'two or three' cold beers :D

To be fair Ian, some of that stuff you call music, is best enjoyed with recreational substanices, it *helps* you attempt to understand what isn't going on.

Does this mean that there's a market for cryogenically treated, directional, gold-plated beer of serpentine origin?

I've had something similar...in Vietnam. There, they sell a kind of snake liquor...not quite sure how it's made but "stuff a snake into a jar, fill with strong alcohol, leave to settle for a bit" would seem to me to be about right. The bottles (well, jars really) look like something out of a 1950s biology lab - snakes in formaldehyde....and judging by the taste of this stuff it might well have been formaldehyde :chunder: .

It's apparently supposed to do all sorts of magical things to your body. All it did for me was turn my bowels to liquid for the next three days :bakeoff: ....and I only had a tiny shot glass of the stuff. First taste is OK, as throat burning as any other really strong alcohol but then you get this revolting aftertaste which no matter what you do, graces your palate for the next 2-3 days. Avoid.

I saw Dreadzone on Mushrooms. Best gig I ever went to. The CD's were something of a disappointment.

Thanks for the tip on Vietnam Michael. I am led to believe formaldyhide is used in a number of brews in South East Asia. It's wierd to wake up after a full moon party with a chemical comedown simply from drinking.
