    ... for Honda Diesel.

I thought it was outrageous. Loved it. Has anyone seen it?

Is it great or should I lay off the scotch and design for a while?

Honda spends a small fortune with advertising agencies and have come up with first class adverts.

Back in the eighties, it was the car covered in butterflies right up until the sequence of moving parts tipping and hitting each other to start a car, and now the engine advert.

    Good advertising always pays.

    Regards

    Mick

wasn't it the founder of honda who went totally off his trolley - molesting employees and demanding they commit ritual suicide?
    cheers

    Totally Wired.

It is a great advert indeed, as are the other Honda adverts named earlier.

What does the current one remind you of musically?

I first saw it half way through and thought of the Beta Band Rap...

Prfobably not, Julian, Soichiro Honda retired from the top management of Honda in the 1970s but, IIRC, remained as an engineering adviser. He died about 10 years ago.

Just watched the ad on the website. Very good, but the "Cog" one with all the bits of the car interacting and then the "Isn't it great when things just work?" tagline is still my favourite.

Yes, that one was very good but it didn't make me really stand up and take notice - I didn't start a thread on it, for example.

Having seen the latest advert, I'll 'revisit' the others.

The cog advert was better. Knowing that there was no CGI in cog makes it all the more special.

Not bad IMO but not a patch (as Michael mentioned) on 'Cog'.

Maybe we should have a poll: "Grrr" v "Cog"
