Cheers for that link, it's always amusing and refreshing to see how far to the extremes this 'hobby' can be taken...but the proof is in the listening, of course

I've been trying to think for ages what high mana racks remind me of. There's been this nagging ''you've seen that before'' feeling in the back of my head for years.

I've just worked it out..

Thats an aesthetic comment, nothing to do with the sound quality.

 

Everybody will have to judge the aesthetics for himself, but having heard that Mana'ed system, I can state that it sounds most agreeable.

 

Unlike the rug.

That looks like the picture of Bub's lounge on PFM, except it's cleaner and larger. Can there really be two different people like this?

 

The system was Hermann's. Since that photo was taken, he has upgraded a few things (552, CDX2, more Mana, bigger power supply for his phono stage) and moved.

 

Hermann's system looks great to me, but I don't like the rug!

 

I don't recall seeing the rug when I was at Hermann's new place. Bub, you realize that Hermann has an Ekos?

 

You can't have everything, I guess.
