amplification

    Wanted: some sort of amplification. Either pre-power or integrated is good. NAD and Rotel favourite. No Naim.

    i'm thinking of taking a punt on one of those cheap chinese e-bay jobbies early next year for use as backup / while my naim kit is on holiday being re-capped. there is a 200wpc hhybrid tube mosfet thing on there for a few hundred quid and there was also a shanling integrated which also looked good for 200 ish quid too. add on about 150 for post and duty and you should get some decent kit for under 400 quid.
    not exactly super cheap but not bad.
    if that's too much have you heard the new cambridge azure kit?

    Isaac, is this just for a temporary solution until you find/make something better? I'm sure someone here will have something they can lend you for a while. Otherwise, eBay is your friend. A few Rotel RA-01s on there for around £100 or less.

    how about going back to a ra971 mk2? i have one you could buy, looking for £100 + postage.

    It does have a very small scratch on the top, otherwise is in excellent condition. If you want photos just ask.
