Animal Collective

I've been listening to a few tracks off the "Spirit They're Gone, Spirit They've Vanished" album. Some of it's instantly appealing, some of it might take a few listens.

Hard to describe. Certainly different to MOst, and pretty odd/free/experimental in places. Mixing electronic and acoustic sounds. Keys, drums, feedback, strings, percusion....
The vocals remind me of someone who I can't place.

It's hard to recommend giving them a listen in a "if you like .... give them a go", way, as I'm not sure who to compare them to.

But, if you fancy something a bit different, maybe worth a go.

I intend to explore further....
