That's just fooking ridiculously hard! I've been trying for about 5 minutes and have only managed to hit the penguin once, scoring 60.8.

Verdict: way too difficult to be any fun :(

Took me a while to realise it's the release of the mouse button that releases the ball, not the press. That helped :)

OK, now I worked out something important:

    - Total score when you've used up all the pingus is what counts. I didn't realise this because I was having so many fresh air shots (which don't use up a pingu) that I thought the game was never ending  ....and I was wondering how anyone got such high numbers when on the about 1 in 50 attempts I actually got one on the board I could only get 60 or so :shame:

Now I sort of got the hang of it I managed 416.5. Still too though difficult IMO.

    Michael.

I've mastered the technique now. However, i can't for the life of me get on to the leader board (minimum score 880ish). I manage to get to about 700 with my first 8 penguins, and then have a fit of excited panic, and end up slicing the remaining two either off the board or into low scoring regions. To counteract this, i tried pausing after the first eight for a bit of a breather, in order to regain my composure (the penguins just fall in the water if you don't hit them, so no penalty for delaying). However, by the time i get back to it, i find that i have then lost the 'eye of the tiger', and bugger up the last two anyway.

I have lost all feeling in my trigger finger.

I take comfort from the fact that i have had a highly constructive weekend thus far.

(BTW, to score highly, you need to be creative)

239.5. I'm kinda glad I didn't do better, or I'd be seriously worried about my mental health.

477.7 on my first go! Hmmm...I knew playing all those video games in my youth would come in useful some day.
