Any High End Audio Groups or Clubs?

Just wondered if there are any Groups or Clubs for high end audio.

This site works very well and is extremely informative but i just wondered if any of you are familiar with any associations at all?

only one i know of is audiogon. loads of esoteric stuff on there to drool over!

I don't really understand the need for a formalised club. Many people here meet others off the forum at shows or at each other's houses as it is.

 

Yeah you just need to get to know the people here and you have your club

Anyway, I had dealings with the Greek guys about three years back, great people! Very down to earth to talk to, especially considering in their club they have some very expensive systems, no one-upmanship or pretense that I could detect,...just truly interested in great music.

They were big Wadia and Von Schweikert fans.

Might be worth dropping them an email.
