Any Oregon Fans out there

    This band formed in the late 60's and apart from one member change, the tragic death of Colin Walcott in 1984 the band has remained stable since it's development from the Paul Winter Consort is still touring and producing some superb material. Members, who are multi instrumentalists are- Ralph Towner- Paul McCandless- Glen Moore- and as afore mentioned Colin Wallcott, his placed now been filled with Mark Walker. Not only is this a fine body of work IMHO, the individual band members have fronted a vast quantity of projects outside Oregon. I look forward to discussing this genre busting quartet with any fellow fans or interested parties

    I stumbled across - Music for Another Present Era - years ago probably about when it came out and for be nothing since has better defined them.

    Also have you heard Ralph Towner's solo work on ECM?
