    latex rubber solution?
Got a set of original JBL Control 1s and the foams have gone around the edges but the structure is still in one piece :) Just ordered some rubber latex solution off ebay and going to attempt to hopefully sort out them out with a thin layer of that.

Yes. It works fine- I like, and have used successfully several times, the very soft latex contact adhesive from a punture-repair kit - one repair with which withstood daily use until surrounds were finally replaced 2years later!

Apply on both sides, rub into the break and around it, and later call someone like Wembley Loudspeakers who can actually replace most surrounds properly (no connection, just a happy customer)
