I remember seeing something similar to that on a few occasions, although they were dimensioned for regular sized seperates rather than midi stuff.

The prices were around £300-400, so I guess the midi would have been around £200-300.

Build yourself a Tri-Arbour, it only needs some 2"X2" and 6"x1" pine and some dowel pegs!

I shouldn't worry about what he wants, or what it's 'worth'. An item is only 'worth' what someone is prepared to pay.

Racks, stands, etc., in general, do not retain their value very well. You may well be surprised! If you have a search on ebay for racks that have sold, you'll see what I mean ~ acheiving 1/3rd of the original retail price is doing well.

Some ebay lsitings do make me laugh. Often you'll see '**blah blah..worth £750' ~ what they mean is that £750 is what they paid for it, which is a long way off what it's worth!

To be fair the 7 tier was around £900 new and the four tier around £400 when new.

But today they are worth sod all, I sold an ash TV/AV stand three tier (twice the width of that listed) for 50 quid on eBay last year, so don't bid to high.
