Anyone using this Lyra SPT stuff?

Thought the old stylus could do with some TLC so plumped for a small bottle of this (Shit Amyl Nitrate is cheaper!)

Am I imagining it or does it work rather well?

 

Is that the stuff that is meant to clean, lubricate (phnar) and protect?
Not tried it but have been tempted.
I use IPA at the mo, when needed, as rec'd by Dynaudio. A zerodust between every play.

I carefully applied a tiny bit to the Dynavector the other day, put on some Marvin Gaye (how appropriate!) and thought "geez!" Still could be an imaginary thing so am interested in others findings.

 

well ive been kind of tempted, but unsure. Maybe ill give it a poke....
