I have an Aragon 4004 power amp up for Sale. Legendary item, - designed by Krell's Dan D'agostino. I've had this serviced by Stephen Bright in North London at a cost of £200. The electrolytic caps have been replaced and the bias/Dc offset etc set up on a test bench with proper measuring equipment. Its also had a new Krell relay fitted. The work is guaranteed for one year. The amp is is a high power/high current design capable of 200Watts into 8 ohms, then has perfect power doubling into 4 ohms. Its even stable into a 1 ohm load and can driver Apogees Its an unusual DC servo design and uses no caps in the signal path for better sound. Reluctant Sale, but I sold my Magneplanars (which i needed this amp for) but have downsized to Proacs as I had to move to a smaller room. Price: £699. Happy to Demo (am in London).
