Arcam C30 pre-amp and P1 monoblocs

Prices are £1199 for the C30 and the £1099 each for the monoblocks.

The C30 interests me. One thing that was holding me back from going pre/power was that there are no sensibly priced (ie less than £2K) pre-amps around that have the features I want (never mind what they sound like).

Still, it's early days yet and I may yet go with a top quality integrated.

Personally I think you'd be far better off going for a quality integrated. I know where you can get a s/h Moon I-5 integrated for a good price of you are interested.

Cheers Robbo - I'm not "in the market" right now. Probably not until end of Feb really. SimAudio i-5s (the latest version) are pretty hard to come by though.

I think I might start a separate thread on my amplifier musings....
