Are the London members OK?

Just seen the news, London - 5 explosions on underground and 2 bus's.

Hope the ZG London guys are OK.

 

This is worrying... perhaps the security spotlight was so heavily turned to scotland that london was left exposed...

It does seem very serious now. Im trying to contact a friend in london, but it seems the mobile networks are down aswell.

 

I think it was - There are hundreds of English police in Edinburgh - you can tell because of the silly helmets. Anyway that's not funny at the moment...

I've just had one of the worst hours of my life - my wife was travelling across London this morning to go to a conference in Picadilly.... and her phone was not answering. But she's just finally called and all OK. Seems nobody on Vodaphone can get a signal, possibly network overload. Now trying to track down my brother and family who would have been en-route to Canary Wharf when the trouble started. This is hellish.

I'm in the City - been doing a ring round to check up on everyone expected in - one unaccounted for so far but probably Ok and just suffering from ther mobile networks collapsing under the strain . Expect I might be kipping under the desk tonight...

 

Only just managed to get through to my mum there, shes ok though

EDIT: It was my sister ringing, not my mum. Still no contact. Does anyone know where they happened? Sky news is shit, I only know russell square

 

Hope all is well with your family Alan. My GF's dad is a police dog handler and trainer and spent last week in Edinbourgh with his team of bomb dog handlers. I wouldn't be surprised if he was soon on his way south

my mum goes through some of those. Phones still down

 

Jesus - I was asked yesterday to go to the London Bridge area today (just for the day) on business but turned it down as I had too much to do here in Bristol!

I heard that the reason that the mobile networks are down is not because of overload but because terrorists have been using mobiles to detonate bombs.

FFS what do they hope to gain? Sick.

Hope everyone is OK. I have friends and family in London and my mum was just getting on a train to Liverpool St to meet by Brother. Today is an obvious target with G8 and police involved there and the day after London is awarded the olympics. I hope we were on high alert.

 

Well its the govts policy that caused it, wouldn't have happened if they didn't support bush
