well my PC speakers are rather naff tiny yamaha ones with their own amp.
    Not got any others.
Wilmslow offered the Seas P17REX as an alternative, but im not sure its a good idea straying from original.

/Andy - who has no clue about speakers.

2 weeks without music? Unacceptable! Why not buy something cheap and cheerful off ebay (or elsewhere) to tide you over, then sell them at hopefully about the same price when the drives eventually arrive? Easy peasy, lemon squeezy.

Just think how much you are going to appreciate your system when you get it back up and running. I'd advise not to borrow any speakers that might be better than your own ( i don't know the diff between Ospreys , kestrels , etc) in case you get disappointed when your own units are back online.

Look at it as a character building excercise, you will be all the stronger from coming through this period of denial, and will appreciate just how crap prime time TV is...

    Good luck

It's a good opportunity to try some alternatives to Meadowlarks IMO Mr P. You might be surprised at what is out there.

Why not check out Madisound? You will doubtless get them far cheaper than Wilmslows even after any postage, tax's etc. Just a thought.

I don't think there is the bandwidth to list all of the speakers I rank above Meadowlark I'm afraid.

Paul - I checked, but Madisound dont stock the driver i need.

SM - No real serious need to upgrade, just going doo-ally without muzak.

lol be glad you don't have muzak! A friend of mine worked at a shop in a shopping centre and the thing that drove her mad (madder) was the muzak! She actually got to know the order of the tunes off by heart!
