FWIW it appears that Ash Designs have disappeared from the planet, according to sources they are no longer trading.

A great shame, as they were one of the few companies that made product that was both sonically acceptable and visually pleasing.

A shame, as I liked their approach to customer service; even their customer questionaires were interesting :( .

TBH, regardless of the excellent build quality, I still think they were overpriced by about £50 or so but I won't be changing my Ash TV or Hi_Fi rack for quite a while :D.

Shame, I quite liked the look of those and was tempted to get one as an AV rack.

I have now ended up with a big optimum AV rack instead which holds all the hifi and AV kit in a reasonably good looking package. It was a bargain too;)

Yep, customer service was exceptional. I ordered a Cosmic 3 but their published dimensions were out and my kit wouldn't fit. After a quick call, they sent out a Cosmic 4 for next day delivery without charge....

They never did ask for the Cosmic 3 back:confused:

Maybe one of the reasons they went bust.

Yes, I do appreciate that my good fella but Rik said it in The Young Ones when they were at a funeral - the Vicar start's off with "Ashes to ashes..." then Rik completes the Bowie lyric before the Vicar has a chance to say "Dust to dust" etc.

    The episode was called "Nasty".
