    David F,

I hope you now have paint on those massive looking speaker stands. Might even help with damping:)

    (for a believer anyway....)

I put my back out in quite a big way a couple of weeks ago. I should be there but it depends on how I feel on the day, recovery is a bit up and down at the moment, some days moving any distance is an effort, other days it's fine.

Muscular. Walking is good, as is some simple yoga, but some days it's not possible to do either.

Obviously, I wouldn't be posting here so much (or at all) if I wasn't immobile quite a bit at the moment :)

Both my last couple of posts are, of course, in the wrong thread :)

    I'm talking about Dev's BBQ.

Sometimes ice packs help with this. Sorry if you know this already. You see us tweakers are not that bad really. Hope you have a speedy recovery, as i know what its like myself. Jim.

Yes, a cool compress will help to get thec acid out of the muscles...

...I too, have experience here, I lost a lot of time (money) at the begiining of the year after an accident ( a long story) so i acn certainly sympethethise. I had to resort to an oesteopath...a dear business...but it got me back to work.

BTW, "cuprofen" is the strongest stuff available off prescription (AFAIK)......but youy've probabaly got soemthing sorted...

I've been taking diazepam, codeine, and voltarol, proper drugs and very fine in combination :)

Diazepam is particularly nice, I strongly recommend it, very more-ish.

I stopped taking anything a couple of weeks ago though. Ice packs and sprays are good. I'm also taking a course of physio and a friend with a lot of yoga experience has trained me to do some simple yoga moves gently working on the neck, shoulders, and lower back. On the whole things are going in the right direction. When I'm fit you'll know, cos I'll stop posting :)

    Ian,

try hypnotherapy, reflexology and some holistic preparations.

    Traditional medicines can't compete.

The lunatic fringe really doesn't want to give up on this idea that you cannot comment on something until you have tried it. Wrong.

I recently noticed the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority has an AS level course in critical thinking skills. Perhaps members of the ZG lunatic fringe would like to enrol? Go on, try it.

You can't pull out! You are the guest of honour (Whatever that means). But seriously, I hope you can make it, but more importantly I hope you make a quick recovery.
