    Not sure as I agree.

    Obsession is not good....always.

Yes, I do the internet+forums a lot....I live on my own and its my link with the world....or another link any way. I wasn't offended in anyway UA...don't think I was. Its just that label could give visiters the impression we do this 24/7....and I don't htink even we do that. But , hey, no big deal!! :D

Can't comment unless you try it.

First without. Absolutely dreadful. The singing sounds strangely out of tune and seems to speed up and slow down at random. The production sounds thin and tinny. Didn't like this at all. Although Auntie thinks it sounds great ... but she knows nothing. Awful.

Still sounds shite. Maybe the cucumber isn't thin enough. Although it is organic. I did however notice a slightly damp ring on the record label.

It's Duran Duran. What the f**k do you expect.

What's worrying is you are probably mildly embarrassed posting a picture of the cucumber but less so by a Duran Duran LP. What was that about the age group of hifi nerds and the industry being stuck in the eighties?

Its not my record, Its Auntie's. She claims he isn't singing out of tune, but it's artistic expression. I'm not sure I believe her. I think it needs more cucumber.

You don't think I'd do the cucumber tweak on one of my own records do you? Besides I thought I'd do it with something which could do with some improving ;)

    I feel your pain.

I bet next time you'll post a Stooges album or maybe some Cannonball Adderley. Denial is the only natural reflex.

    Or a carrot in each ear . . . . . .

I was so impressed by the hand cream, I then tried some margarine which worked even better; well at least you could spread it on your toast afterwards. Best by far though is 3 coats of Dulux Brilliant White Non Drip Gloss, followed by 5 coats of yacht varnish which sounds divine, you should all try it. Get a signwriter to paint in the disc title otherwise it's gonna take you a fair while to find the Bruce Windscreen disc you want to hear :D

Before I forget, I should also add that it doesn't help this forum for there to be so many posts praising home made Nos DAC's, chip amps, Behringer Music Destroyer Pro's and any other cheap crappy flavour of the month that promises huge upgrades for a fiver. Kind of looks stupid in the long run.

I've got a Stooges album - possibly the worst sounding album I own ... It'd need a catering sized jar of pickled gherkins to sort that one out ... what are they called? Wallies, that's it ... and who is this Aniseedball Anderson?

You can't only have one Stooges record, you need at least three: The Stooges, Fun House, and Raw Power. Any fewer is a terrible mistake.

Do you sell strobe discs, btw, I may need one soon and I couldn't find any on your website.

It must be a terrible mistake, I only have Raw Power. Whic is astonishingly good in the one sense ... but even more astonishingly dreadful in another.

I don't stock them but can get the Clearaudio ones. Or you can download one from Vinyl Engine. Is it for an AC deck using the mains Freq or a DC deck?

You need the 1st album and Fun House - both are just superb (and a hell of a lot better produced than Raw Power).

I reckon Fun House is the first one to get, it's the best Stooges record, but The Stooges has No Fun and Now I Wanna Be Your Dog, so you can't not love it. I quite like the way Raw Power sounds, everything turned up to 11 and trebly to the max. Iggy's remix released a few years back is worth having though, it is (mostly) better, but I don't know if it got a vinyl release.

Thanks for the strobe info, I didn't realise Vinyl Engine had one, I'll snaffle one from there.
