    ATC SCM50 active

can't really accomodate these in my 9ft by 7 ft room,

350 watts of on board class A amps, boxes, stands, cables, covers, manual, well cared for. Walnut finish.

Stupendous bargain, £1950 accepting offers very close. Try and find cheaper.

They're sure as heck not perty, you're right, but if I had a much bigger room I'd buy 'em. Good price, too.

Greetings from the Land of Harbeth

    Data,
You will REALLY regret selling those, they are superb speakers.
Don't do it man! Rearange the room, sell the house, heck sell the wife and kids into white slavery if you have to, but DO NOT SELL THOSE SPEAKERS!

Was that clear enough I wonder.

    Joel

PS I think they look very good. 100% non-lifestyle in a no-prisoners-taken stylee.

Ian, you too could have some bass as well, and as analyitical as your source will allow, mind you the pmc's are much better imho, and they do bass too :) although maybe the top can be a touch SL like  T.

PMCs? Pah, they're just PA speakers. Rubbish IMO. :)

    You Are All Compact

    Meister, Sideshow,
Now, now children. What you really need are a pair of grown-up speakers from Harbeth.
    Ducks for cover...

I can honestly say that I really prefer Duck Soup. But then I am an old Grouch.

Data, are these still available? And would you be willing to ship them to Edinburgh? Also, are they the SL (Super Linear) version?

If so... how about a swap for a pair of brand spankin' new Active 20s (the new model with the funky space-age cabinets)? And when I say brand spankin' new I mean brand spankin' new - as in, they arrived four days before I flew off to Florida (I've been away since 10 Dec, and I return next Sunday) and haven't been used since. They're not even run in!

If you don't mind waiting a few days I can post pics if you like (but like I say, they really are brand new, and so in completely mint condition).

As I say, I don't get back to Edinburgh till next Sunday (the 11th), so it would have to wait till after that.

    So... whaddaya say?

    Dunc
