can you tell me anything more about either of these cables. Im after a top notch set of single ended interconnects to connect up my cd player and integrated amp, and i want something that wont be a bottleneck in their performance. Would prefer as neutral as possible and not into the hyped up mid and treble of chord cables, or the over smooth nature of VDH's. Any comments you have would be useful.

also the ecosse cables are only £199 new, its the XLR's that are £240

I think you would be very happy with the Ecosse Quartet. I have long been a fan of Ecosse interconnects and speaker cables. The Atlas is superb and has more bite whereas the Ecosse has a smoother sound. (Not too smooth though)
You were right about the price so I will do the Ecosse for £100 if you want it. Also it is actually 0.9m if that is any benefit.
I have edited the original post.
