Audio Analogue Maestro Mk11 CD Player.

Just had a complete new mechanism installed at UKD which is warranted for 6 months. It also had a complete new fascia fitted when it was there as the original had some light discolourations in the anodizing.

This is an upsampling machine which can be used as a DAC unit for other machines. It also has a digital "loop" function which is very handy if using something like a Behringer DEQ2496.

Not going to tie myself in knots attempting fancy prose to describe the sound but it is a good all-rounder with no obvious weaknesses. More "musical" than analytical but there's no lack of detail or impact. The only player I've heard which is a clearly and unarguably better is a £5k Esoteric.

    Manufacturer's site.

Comes boxed with manual & remote. This thing is built like a brick outhouse and weighs 20kg. Condition is pristine and all the mechanical & optical parts that wear are brand new.

    £650 ono
