    What's this then:
Seems fine to me. I don't think anyone would think this was dodgy allthough people might be nervous about buying such an expensive item from a 0 feedback user.

    SKP574,

I must say that at the current asking price, that is one big hit you are taking on a player that is just under 7 months old. I have no plans to get a new (or even second hand) CD player otherwise, I would have made you an offer you couldn't refuse and even picked it up personally in the U.K. by car.;)

Anyway, just remind me again, why are you so keen on selling such a fine sounding player considering the big dent it is likely to make on your pocket? You must have a very good reason for doing so, no?

    Enjoy the music,

    Lawrie.:D

I was referring to the payment details, which only stipulates Paypal. Its an easy thing to do,tick the cod box.I just think you have to cover all bases to get bids for an item that expensive with zero feedback.

    Lawrie,

I have just moved house and my immediate needs have changed. I am looking for an integrated CDP with digital inputs and analogue pre-amp. That narrows down my selection enormously. All my disposable income is tied up in the house for the foreseeable future so I need to sell my ARC. I have tried to sell it privately without success, certainly at the price I was asking anyway. I didn't really want to ebay it but that seems the only way.

I love the sound of the player, don't get me wrong. I just need something to reduce my overall box count as I only have digital sources.

Can you not ask the buyer for any PayPal fees now? So if someone wishes to pay through PayPal with a credit card, the seller has to swallow the cost of the fees? That is if you have a premier PayPal account like me?

I don't want to have my ad pulled if I'm flouting the rules.

Thanks for the advice guys. It's much appreciated.

    SKP574,

Thanks for that explanation. As we say in the biz, 'you can't go wrong with bricks & mortar' so a wise move there with the house purchase. Anyway, I hope you get a fair price for the ARC as it is a very fine sounding player.

    Enjoy the music,
