What Hifi Highly Recommended “Bass has enormous punch, exemplary control at the top.â€Â
The Original Audiolab made in England!

    Features
Phase Locked Loop (PLL) circuit to minimise jitter
Balanced XLR & RCA digital inputs
    Two sets of analogue outputs.

Together with the Audiolab 8000CDM, this was the reference digital front end for hifi reviewers in its time.

Good condition. Note that the original RCAs have been professionally replaced by gold plated Oxygen-free Copper (OFC) RCAs which are more sturdy and enable tighter electrical contact.

Sound is balanced, with an extremely open and fluid midband that expresses vocals very well. Treble is intricately detailed and bass has great punch. Above all, this is a highly natural sounding DAC

Drop me a msg if you have any questions and Iâ€Âll reply asap.

    another one up for grabs..

I have one sitting in a cupboard, if anyone is interested - serial number is 215A04174, and it does have a large-ish scratch to the paintwork on the top. It has been unused for many years, and could be yours for way less than the £250 the other one went for - it is in London, could be posted at cost, so make me an offer - the closer to £250 the better, but I thought they worth way less...
Email me on stevethestinkyone(AT)hotmail(DOT)com and I'll get back to you asap !
    Cheers
    Steve
