Just bought one of these. It's making lovely sounds, but came without a user manual or AM loop aerial. Does anyone know where I can find a manual (paper or virtual). FM's working fine, but I'm not sure how to hook up MW/LW aerials in the absence of the original loop aerial. Any help gratefully received.
    Thanks in anticipation.

Those are supposed to be rather good tuners, and quite rare given the (original) high price.

I can't help with the manual, but I think I have a contemporary magazine review somewhere - will post a link / scans if I can find it.

Just been given a link to the TAG T20 manual on AV Forums. Essentially the same as the 8000T, so I've got what I need. Thanks for the offer of the magazine scan.

Sorry for the thread Hijack, but I've been wondering this.. Does the analogue TV signal turn-off include radio?

I thought it did but am lately not so sure. I may mean me actually bothering to re-hook up my Arcam Delta tuner.

    Thanks

    (Nice tuner btw Eisenach!)

Not if you live in Cumbria. Whitehaven (I think) loses analogue TV this autumn. FM will go on for much longer - there's no set date yet, I believe, although I'm sure it won't be long until there is.

Is that the Arcam Delta 280? It's what I've replaced with the Audiolab, and is a very good tuner if a bit insensitive. There's a bit of modulation whine with it, too, but the basic sound is very good. The Audiolab has more solidity to its sound and pulls in many more stations off the same aerial - not sure you'd want to listen to many of them, though!

I hope the Audiolab's going to be ok. I'm not sure there isn't a problem with it. It seems to be losing its ability to do stereo whilst at the same losing volume. The weather was dreadful yesterday, so I'm hoping the problem might be weather-related. Otherwise I can see a dispute arising. It was sold as in good working order, and for 3 days, it was! Ah, e-bay!

Yeah it's the 280. It always annoyed me as it kept losing channels and it's a bugger to get a signal with. But a nice tuner.
