I have been reading superb, bordering on OTT, web reviews of Canadian Audiomat integrated amps., especially their Opera and Recital models.

    1) Has anyone on the forum heard either of these amps., and if so, what did you think?
    2) Does anyone know if there are dealers in UK or (preferably) Ireland? (They seem to be well organised for Canadian/US distribution and I've found French, Belgian and Dutch outlets, but none closer to home.)

    Any information/opinions welcome.

I have some info. unfortunately not first hand. I am from the Czech Republic.
There are 2 people I know/partly from chats and reviews/ who sing absolute accolades about the Audiomat Solfege.
And they drive speakers which I would never link to a tube amp, difficult 4 ohm demanding speakers

I emailed Mutine, the distributor in Canada, re availability in IRL/UK, and it turns out that Audiomat is in fact a French company.

Mutine don't know anything about European distribution but sent me fax and phone numbers for Audiomat in France.

Mutine website is here: http://www.mutine.com/. They retail 4 Audiomat integrated amps. - and interestingly Audiomat ONLY make integrateds, not pre/power separates - from:
C$3990 (Eur2880/£1970) for the Arpege Reference to
    C$14900 (Eur10775/£7350) for the Recital.

The Opera is C$7490 (Eur5418/£3700), but is on offer from French and Belgian dealers at Eur4500.

Audiomat also make a phono stage and 3 DACs.

Still no sign of a manufacturer's website though.

What a really bad name though? Audiomat, wipe your dirty boots on it when you come through the door!
