Video Calibration is the equivalent for TVs and projectors as tweaking a HiFi with DACS, tables, blocks and cables. It gets far more performance from display. If you would like to see the results first hand then this is a free event that you can't afford to miss.


From 6pm until 9pm there will be a number of 25 minute demos so you can drop in and see what image calibration is all about.


What you will see and learn...

• what to look for when setting up your projector
• what the default settings do to your picture
• how a projector is calibrated
• the result of an £800 calibrated pj vs £1500 uncalibrated pj
• and a £1500 calibrated pj vs £1500 uncalibrated pj

The plan is to show the A/B demos split screen 50/50. This will make comparisons much easier. For those of you with an eye on High Definition (HD) we will also show you how a video processor can help add HD to your existing system.

The Audio Works is a HiFi and AV retail shop. It will be open all day so if you like your music as much as your AV then come down earlier and have a listen to some great HiFi. Bring a favourite CD if you like.

Refreshments and nibbles will be served during the evening. For those of you with a license to play out longer we will adjourn to the pub later

Wow I am impressed, a person that knows Cheadle is in Greater Manchester and not Cheshire .

Not much point on me going since all I have is a 21" CRT .

 

It might be worth you coming along anyway just for the music side of things. The guys have always got something interesting on the go.
