Av32r vs AAA5+

Hi I currently have an Arcam Alpha 5 + and have two choices to improve it.

I can either get Les to do his wondermod and convert it to an Avondale.

or i could use the digi out and plug it into a Tag AV32r.

Has anyone had any experience of either?

I can't remember whether you actually have the AV32R already. I have one for the last few years and every toys (midfi Sony DVDP, Freeview tuner, VHS recorder, Linn Karik transport, and Tag transpor) connected to it whether via the analogue or digital inputs sound very beautiful. Side effects? It is not revealing enough to show certain things like the huge differences btw all types of audiophile cables.

The only reference I found about the mod is in the THT website. IM very very HO that brick on top of the CDP is a bit naf.
