    Les is a great guy, I had the pleasure of a chat with him, he is really nice, helpful, knowledgable, and I have just sold on an avondale cd. Les agreed to check it over for free, and is replacing the transport with no charge whatsover. not that it needs it.
    that's what you call service.
    long live les, and I wish all shops could give such good service.

    I on the other hand have had shitty service from Les.

    He kept the item I sent him for six months, didnt do the job and then threw his toys out of the pram when I mentioned this fact on PFM. With disgust I then had to pay for the proportion of the work he had supposedly done before he would return the item. It took him so long to return my equipment that the address I had given him was no longer valid. The carrier then returned the item to him and he has ignored my request for redelivery at my own expense.

    I have not seen the DAC I sent for mods for over a year. Following this post he will doubtless produce his own version of events.

    I suggest that all Zerogainers read my post and any reply, then think very carefully about the impression formed.

    guys, stating your opinions is fine - you've both had dealings with les, good and bad lets leave it there please. it's an emotive issue and i'm sure michaels hand is hovering over the big red button on this one.

    There shall be no more discussion of the issue, both Darren and Les have now posted their version of events and it's up to members to decide who to believe.
