Yes there was no NAD 3020.
My Django is the Steven and Billington transformer version with silver phono sockets. In Dev's system, it gave better dynamics and life than the Glasshouse passive. It suited his system better. The passive pre sounded like there was something missing.
It's interesting to see the opinions of the transformer pre from Lee. It didn't sound slow at all. There was no lack of pace. With Rob's Naim cd player there was pace aplenty.
I understand Dev is going to be making one of these type of pres for his system.
Ian's Leak amp was quality sounding. It goes very well with the Tannoy speakers. The Leak has a very sensitive input (0.125V) so a tranditional passive would work better with that. The Rogue is less sensitive (1V)
