BBC R3 high quality stream

    Following the successful trial during the Proms the BBC are introducing a permanent high quality stream at 320kbs AAC from December.

    The Prom feed sounded excellent so this is very good news.

    The publicity lags behind the reality a little. The BBC announced 'high definition audio' internet feeds a while ago and announced their intention to begin with R3 and roll out to other music stations where appropriate.
