My recommendation is about 6 to 8 pints of J W Lee's bitter followed by a damn good curry, my local curry chef just won some national competition. No Lee's try Holt's or Robinsons, not too strong to get you trollied but still nice beers. I also like in smaller quantities Timmy Taylors Landlord, Courage Directors. Coniston Breweries Bluebird, and a bit of a favourite this one Black Sheep Bitter.
