    Hi,

Im after a nice copy of beggars banquet for under a tenner (inc p&p) - on LP of course..

Im sure its an album that loads of people have.

I can see a couple of 'mono' copies on e-bay, and I want stereo.

Anyone know what would be a good years production to go for, and has anyone done a re-release recently with decent sound quality?

Im a listener not a collector, so am after a copy that sounds really good.

    Hope you can help :)

Are you *totally* sure about this? I would go for a mono version myself...

There are plenty of Decca Stereo copies on eBay too: Click! They are also a lot cheaper than original Mono copies!

I have a blue labelled Decca FFSS copy and it is an excellent sounding LP.

Me too. A word of warning here - There may not be such a thing, but if Virgin reissued Beggars Banquet on remastered vinyl as they did Sticky Fingers and Exile on Main Street - "180g audiophile blahblahbollox" (i don't know if they did, but IF they did), don't touch it with a barge pole. I bought both of these reissues a few years back and they are unlistenable travesties. I later replaced them with perfectly acceptable 70s reissues which ROCK.
