    Hi folks,

My DEQ has been sitting doing nothing for long enough, it's time to say farewell.

She's a few years old, but has hardly seen any use in that time. Was bought by a friend for his guitar rig (of all things!) and went unused until I took it off his hands.

She has software version 1.4 loaded and is in the original box, minus the manual. I've a pair of XLR->RCA that I'll chuck in, they're not fantastic, but, they're enough to get up and running.

    I'd like £120, including postage.

At the moment I'm trying to fix my DEQ2496 that won't boot, but if I cannot fix it then I plan to pick up a replacement at some point... :(

I don't think I'd make full use of your modified one, as when my DEQ2496 was working I was only using the digital ins and outs as I also use a DCX2496. I'm sure someone will buy it tho, it would make an awesome DAC if hooked up to a PC. :)

PS: Any tips on how to fix a non-booting DEQ?

In what way does it not boot? No response at all, screen lights but is blank, error reports?

First thing is to check internal connections. Then check that the right voltages are being provided by the PSU when you try and power up. I can tell you what the voltages should be, if you want to send me PM.
